WEB DESIGN PROCESS
My typical web design process flow is shown here. Clients are generally required to make a down payment of 50% when we sign the agreed Statement Of Work (SOW) with the balance due upon completion. I work almost exclusively in WordPress utilizing the Divi theme from Elegant Themes.
- Examine – the design process starts with learning your needs and what your business is all about
- Statement of Work – summarizing what I heard from you, I will detail my design approach including a cost breakout
- Research – drawing inspiration from you, your social media content and your industry, I begin to develop a plan of attack
- Sketch – rough wireframes of your design are prepared as a foundation for the next stage
- Design – using almost exclusively WordPress and Divi from Elegant Themes, I create a website on my development server for your review
- Review – client critiques the website and makes revision suggestions…these must be bound by original SOW or refreshing the quote is required
- Delivery – with final revision approval, the website is pushed to your host’s server
